The Defigo AccessKey can be used as an alternative way for tenants to access their building if they do not want to use their smart phone, or if they do not own a smart phone (elderly or children, for instance).

The Defigo AccessKey is small, convenient and easy to attach to a keyring or an existing set of physical keys.

The Defigo AccessKey is used by tapping it on the bottom of the Defigo Connect Panel (the wifi-like symbol) to open the entrance door. It can also be used on Smart Readers, and can be used on Salto Space or ARX locks if they have been integrated with Defigo. Because the AccessKey is MiFare, the tenant simply needs to tap it on the reader and the door will open.

How to set up a Defigo AccessKey

Tenant

The tenant can add a Defigo AccessKey to a door via the Defigo app. To add a Defigo AccessKey, the tenant must be standing next to either a Defigo Connect Panel or Smart Reader that they have access to.
