Mobile access with Defigo provides flexibility and convenience to both tenants and building managers, allowing for easy access and quick administration.

Mobile access with Defigo Connect is designed with convenience in mind. Tenants in particular will appreciate how practical mobile access is for entering their building, and for communicating with their visitors.

Mobile Access with Defigo is quick and easy to set up. All it requires is the Defigo Connect system to be installed, the Building Manager to create a user for the tenant, and the tenant to download the Defigo app from the App store or Play store

The Defigo app allows tenants to open doors by just tapping a button, personalize their call button, hide their call button, add doors to their ‘Favorites’ page, receive video calls from their visitors (and grant them access to the building), and more.

How does it work?

Mobile Access with Defigo is reliant on the building having a Defigo Relay Hub installed in the building. The Defigo Relay Hub allows tenants to access their building using the Defigo app.

Visitor Management

The Defigo app is all a tenant needs to be able to answer calls from, and open the door for visitors to the building.

When a visitor taps a tenant’s call button on the Defigo Connect Panel, the tenant receives a notification on their Defigo app. The notification allows them to decline the call or to answer the call, which then leads them to a live video stream of the visitor. The tenant can see the visitor (the visitor cannot see the tenant), and they can communicate before the tenant either hangs up the call or grants the visitor access into the building.

Tenant Access

Tenants can access their building using the Defigo app. Once the tenant has been given their login details for the Defigo app, they will be able to use their cell phone to access the doors they have been given permission to access.

Tenants can easily do this by tapping the padlock next to the door they want to access.

Within the Defigo app, tenants can also add their frequently used doors to their ‘Favorites’ which is the first screen when opening the Defigo app, making the process of opening a door even more convenient and seamless.

The app also allows tenants to change a number of settings, from altering their ringtone, hiding their call button and more. Take a look at our help videos to learn more about all the options available to edit.

Building Manager

The Building Managers’ main role is to oversee and manage who is able to enter the building.

When getting started with Defigo, the Building Manager will provide the Defigo Customer Success team with a list of the tenants that require access to the building. Each tenant will receive a login for the Defigo app. After the initial setup, the Building Manager will be able to add and remove tenant access to the building in real time via Webadmin
