A lot of buildings have existing access systems in place. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that they need to be removed, especially if they still work well. Removing the system could contribute to the growing issue of e-waste, and it also means that tenants familiar with the existing system would have to learn a new system.
To mitigate this issue, we integrated Defigo Connect with Salto Space to give you more flexibility and options in your building. If you have existing Salto Space locks and readers, you can integrate Defigo Connect with them to create a seamless system.
Tenant Access
For tenants that use their smart phone to access the building, the Defigo app can be used to open doors with the Defigo Connect Panel , as well as Salto Space online locks throughout the building. Gone are the days of having multiple apps for navigating the building.
For tenants using RFID keyfobs, the Defigo AccessKey can be used on the Defigo Connect Panel, and the Salto Keyfobs can be used on both the Defigo Connect Panel and Salto Space RFID readers.
Building Managers
For Building Managers, the Salto Space integration with Defigo means that they can manage access to all doors that have an online Salto lock or a Defigo Connect Panel installed on it in Defigo Webadmin.
In Webadmin, the Building Manager can grant and remove access to any of the above mentioned doors, as well as add and remove AccessKeys.
