The Defigo Relay Hub is the ‘brain’ of the Defigo Connect System. Designed to make access seamless and smart, the Relay Hub allows tenants to open the door using their cell phone. 

The Defigo Relay Hub is connected to the Defigo Connect Panel via a cable, but is installed inside the building rather than the outside to increase security. This means that if the Connect Panel were to get damaged, tenants can still enter the building using the Defigo app. It is also connected to the internet both via PoE and 4G, so the Relay Hub will always be working. 

The Defigo Relay Hub features 3 relay ports, which can control 3 doors, a PoE port, and a port for power connection.

How does it work?

Tenant Access
‍

While tenants will be unlikely to see the Relay Hub at all, they will enjoy the benefits of having it installed. Afterall, the Relay Hub allows tenants to access the building using only their cell phone. 

With 3 relay ports available, subsequent doors can be programmed to open as well. For instance, if a tenant uses their cell phone to open the entrance door, the relay hub could be programmed to then open the inside door after 4 seconds, allowing the tenant to also enter that door. 

With the Relay Hub installed, tenants will experience a seamless journey into their building using their cell phone.

Visitor Management 

‍

When a visitor calls through to a tenant, the tenant is presented with the option to hang up the call or allow the visitor to enter the building. The Relay Hub allows tenants to grant access to their visitors from their cell phone (or Answering Device) from wherever they are in the world - whether that be in the building, or elsewhere.

Building Manager

Building Managers can add and remove tenant access to the building via the Defigo Webadmin. Once they have added or removed a tenant, the Relay Hub gets updated in real time with the new data, therefore immediately allowing a new tenant to access the building, or immediately preventing an old tenant from accessing the building.
