Defigo Elite is an interface and setup for the Defigo Home Station, designed predominantly for elderly and analog tenants. Defigo Elite is perfect for tenants who are less familiar with modern technology, and who require easier technological systems in their everyday lives. It’s a way to ensure that all your tenants have their needs met, even when moving in a more digital and modern direction. 

It is also possible to use Defigo Elite in properties where tenants frequently move in and out of the building (for instance, student housing), or in buildings where the manager wants to have better control over Defigo Home Stations that are connected to the Defigo Connect system. 

Defigo Elite was developed in collaboration with the municipality of Oslo and Oslo Met University to adapt the Defigo Connect System to the needs of older and analog users.

How does it work?

Visitor Management

‍

Receiving visitors is simple with Defigo Elite. The interface consists of large buttons and clear instructions informing the user when they can speak to their visitor and when they can press tap the screen to open the door. 

Defigo Elite allows elderly and analog users to maintain their independence, by giving them the ability to control access of their visitors in a safe and easy way. 

Defigo Elite will display a static screen at all times except when a call is incoming. The static screen will inform the user whether it is daytime or nighttime and what the current time is. 

Defigo Elite is convenient for property Managers, employees of elderly homes, or close family members who are able to set up, operate and manage the Defigo Home Station on behalf of the elderly or analog tenant.

Building Manager

Defigo Elite is designed to be adapted to the individual tenants’ needs. In order to do this, settings for the doorbell ringtone, volume level, name displayed on the call button, screen brightness, doorbell availability and use of icons can be adjusted. These can be easily altered by the Building Manager via Webadmin. It is possible to make either some or none of the settings available to be adjusted by the tenant. 

Defigo Elite is an option available from the setup of the Defigo Home Station. When setting up the Home Station, the administrator will be presented with two options, for ‘user mode’ which means it will be managed by the end user in a unit, or ‘admin mode’ which is Defigo Elite, and means it can be controlled centrally by a Manager.
