Defigo can integrate with the elevators in your building for a seamless journey for tenants and visitors.
With an integration between Defigo and your building’s elevators, you can ensure that you and your visitors have a seamless journey throughout the building.
Whether you are in a Multifamily or Commercial building, you can integrate Defigo Connect with your elevator in a way that best suits your needs.
There are three ways of using Defigo’s elevator integration:
NOTE: To integrate Defigo Connect with an elevator in your building, you will need to speak with your installation partner, and, depending on how you would like the integration to work, the elevator technician.
You can use Defigo to make sure that only people who are given access to a floor will be able to enter it.
The button inside the elevator will be deactivated by default for the floor you intend to restrict access to. A user who has access to a restricted floor will have the floor button in their Defigo app.
By pressing the floor button in the Defigo app, the button inside the elevator for the selected floor will be activated. When the button inside the elevator is then pressed, the elevator will move to the selected floor.
You can use Defigo to move the elevator to the correct floor using the Defigo app.
The user no longer has to use the buttons in the elevator. Depending on the access group the user belongs to, the user will have one or more floors available to them in their Defigo app.
By pressing the floor button in the Defigo app, Defigo will tell the elevator to move to the selected floor.
You can use Defigo to automate what happens when someone uses the Defigo Connect Panel.
This option enables you to design what happens when someone is at the door using the Defigo Connect Panel, and you grant them access. You can design this feature to fit your requirements.
Example 1: A visitor comes to the door. When you let them in, the front door of the building is opened. The elevator is then prompted to meet the visitor at the correct floor, wait for 20 seconds and then take them to the 5th floor.
Example 2: A floor has restricted access so only users who work or live in the building have access to it. But when a visitor is let in using the Defigo Connect Panel, the elevator will allow them to go to that floor.
