Building administrators can determine which users can access particular areas during certain hours and using certain entry methods.

Not every door needs to be open 24/7. That's the idea behind Scheduled Access, a feature that gives Building Administrators control over exactly when and how people can get in.
The problem it solves
Right now, access generally works the same way around the clock: RFID cards, the mobile app, and visitor calls all let people in whenever they want. That's fine for most situations, but it falls short when a building needs tighter control. For instance, locking things down overnight, or giving cleaners and contractors access only during their shift.
How it works
Building Administrators set rules at the door level, not per person. Rules are not created for individual users. Instead, users inherit access based on the unit they belong to.
There are two operating modes to choose from.:
Always Allow keeps things as they are today, where units can access the door at any time.
Allow by Schedule flips the default to closed, only opening the door during time windows the Administrator allows.
Within a schedule, Administrators can set the time period, the rule type, which units it applies to, and which access methods are covered: app, keyfob, visitor calls, or third-party API access. Overlapping time slots aren't a problem either, the system just merges them into one continuous window.
What Building Administrators experience
The main management happens in Web Admin. Building Admins or Hyper Admins can set up, view, and update schedules through a calendar-based interface. The Building Administrator can create schedules, view schedules and update schedules.
What users experience
If a user tries to access a door outside their allowed hours, they get a clear denial message, whether they're using the app or tapping a keyfob.
